Program of Evaluations Committee
Commitment: This is a 1-year position, with option to renew for a second term. In this role, the representative must attend 80% of PEC meetings, which generally occur monthly and last 1.5h.
Role Description:
This subcommittee will annually review all curricular course and clerkship elements, with an in-depth review of each educational offering every three years. PEC will also review modules and our entire curriculum at three-year intervals. There shall be two PEC Representatives from each class year (MS1-4), one who also serves in the Curriculum Representative role, and one elected at-large. PEC Student Representatives shall:
Attend and actively participate in at least 80% of monthly PEC meetings as a representative of the SCC and the student body
Prepare for monthly PEC meetings by reading course evaluations and course director summaries for courses to be evaluated
Serve as a liaison between PEC and the student body, by:
Presenting key takeaways from each PEC meeting at monthly SCC meetings
Convey student interests, concerns, and feedback to PEC
